About My Pictures in Acrylic
This picture was prompted by many visits to the Yorkshire Dales to climb Ingleborough and explore the fascinating limestone pavements which characterise the region. I decided to keep the mountain simple in order to contrast it with the complexity of the ‘clints and grikes’ in the foreground. I added some hart’s-tongue ferns and finally the two wheatears, birds commonly found in this environment.
